![]() All that is required is for players to play their turns as soon as they can, to post if you are going to be unavailable for a while and the be trustworthy which I'm sure we all are :) I guess it could be played as a two or three player game if we cannot find five players. It involves plenty of exploration, colonization, trading, science development and warfare! The game should seem familiar to regular Civ2 players. ![]() The Other Greeks and Persians can be controlled by the AI. The nations are Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Chalcis and Thebes. I would suggest Hellas by John Ellis as a good one for first timers. The next player downloads the save and plays their turn then posts their save and so on. The first player begins the scenario then posts his hotseat save (.hot) in the thread with a brief summary of any action. Decide on house rules (IE No ship chaining, no re-homing caravans etc.) Decide which nations will be playable and which are AI controlled The normal procedure for setting up a hotseat game is: I think there is a work around, I will see if I can track it down. At Civ Webring we usually play scenarios which generally begin with several balanced nations so turn lengths are fairly consistent.Obviously MGE is required! Playing the original Civ2 via PBEM would take forever. ![]()
