![]() ![]() I remember some developer once saying that their vampires "echo through eternity", which I think is a good way to sum up vampire psychology. An elder of 300 years has easily cycled trough 10 or more human personas - which they need to enact their will and influence onto the mortals. Or who were the primogen of London during the 1700´s? That was 300 years ago! After a long torpor they might actually have forgotten who violently put them there - as they were preoccupied with torporic nightmares for 100 years.Īlso - I rarely played in the OWOD that elders with Intelligence 6+ as super intelligent, rather they remember more than is possible for a human. ![]() An elder vampire needs to make an concious effort to access these memories - and possibly reconnect to old trauma, lost friends, the deep emotions they once had to their mortal family. Ad hoc they will still remember the most important things of their unlife. They still forget and get foggy memories like humans do. Similiar to the Immortals from the "Highlander"-Series. For me elder vampires cycle trough their personas they develop during the centuries out of need - often just to connect with humans and their humanity. ![]()
